Support for farmers who take up organic farming together in a PKVY cluster, with PGS-India certification. Part of the money is paid to the farmer by DBT.

How to apply

  1. The State Government picks the clusters, preferably in hilly, tribal and rain-fed areas (B.5.2). Ask your district agriculture office whether a PKVY cluster is being formed near you.
  2. Join a PKVY/PGS group: at least 20 farmers with about 20 hectares in one village or nearby villages (B.5.7).
  3. Follow PGS-India organic standards with your group; the group is certified through a Regional Council (B.5, B.5.1).
  4. The farmer incentive is paid straight into your bank account by DBT (B.5.9).
