How to apply
- If you have a crop loan or KCC, your bank enrols you automatically unless you opt out at least seven days before the cut-off date (cl. 3.1.1.1).
- Otherwise enrol yourself before the cut-off date — at your bank, a Common Service Centre, an insurance agent, or on pmfby.gov.in.
- Declare the crop you have sown or intend to sow, and pay your share of the premium (cl. 3.1).
Documents you need
- Aadhaar number (mandatory)
- Land record (RoR, land possession certificate) — or, for sharecroppers and tenants, the agreement your state accepts
- Declaration of the crop sown or to be sown
- Bank account details
